There are various types of charts which uses by astrologers to study the person and determine their fate. One of them is the Navamsa chart in vedic astrology also known as D9, the proper meaning for it is “one-ninth part of a zodiac sign”.Navamsa Chart is the most important divisional chart, Navamsa means nine part of a particular Rashi in which each Amsa consists of 3 degrees and 20 minutes.The chart  creates  to give 108 boxes at an angle of 3 degrees and 20 minutes of the zodiac arc. This was done to position the planets more accurately and precisely as mentioned earlier whereas the Rasi chart was depicted with the 12 zodiac signs placed at an angle of 30 degrees.

Importance Of Navamsa Chart in Vedic Astrology

The lords of 1st, 4th and 7th navamsa of a sign represent the Deva (“Divine beings” and constructive forces); persons born with any of these navamsas rising in the Lagna are generous, religious, wealthy, powerful and influential. Persons born in the 2nd, 5th or the 8th navamsa whose lords represent the Naras (“Human beings” and their efforts) are generally kind, good natured, engaged in the pursuits of human welfare and reputed; and in the 3rd, the 6th or the 9th navamsa whose lords represent the Rakshasas (“Demonic beings” and evil forces) are selfish, cruel, violent, destructive and possess many negative qualities. Moreover, the Lagna-rasi and the Lagna-lord should not form or occupy the 6th, the 8th or the 12th bhava in the Navamsa Chart nor the lords of the 6th, the 8th or the 12th of the Rasi Chart associate with the Navamsa Lagna or its lord.

Navamsa Chart Prediction For Marriage 

In marriage, the strength of the marriage lord has to be ascertain in the Navamsha chart. If the marriage lord is free from affliction and powerful then the married life will be good. If the malefic planets occupy the first House and  Seventh house of Navamsha chart then there can be troubles in marriage. Match Making or guna milan is important if the Navamsha chart is afflicted. Due to affliction in the Navamsha chart, Delayed Marriage Problem is also possible
